The hiring process suggests the need of reviewing the job applications in order to select the potential and appropriate candidates for the interview, testing the capabilities of the candidates, selecting in between the candidates for making the hiring decision perfect. It can be stated that the hiring procedures can vary from one organization to another as there are hardly any fixed policies to be followed in the hiring process. However, the steps of the hiring process includes figuring out the need of the new hire, identifying the candidates, setting up the interviews, interviewing the candidates, checking of the references and the background, extending the offer and the negotiation (Eriksson & Lagerström 2012).
